Day 1 : Fly to Detroit
Get acquainted with your fellow travelers today as we gather at our wonderful accommodations for the next two nights in the Detroit area.
Day 2 : Ford Museum & Greenfield Village
Begin each day with an included breakfast. This morning witness true genius at The Henry Ford Museum, located in Dearborn, Michigan. Offering exhibits that inspire, engage and inform based on Mr. Ford’s incredible work, we discover the amazing technological breakthroughs of this incredible man. We also explore the historic Greenfield Village, spread over 80 acres. Ride in a Model T, travel the rails on a steam-powered locomotive, sit on the same bus where Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat, and enjoy lunch at an 1850s tavern or 1940s diner. Tonight, we gather and enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner.
Day 3 : Niagara Falls
Travel through the lush fields of Canada’s fruit-growing region on our way to the resort city of Niagara Falls, Ontario for three pleasant nights. Upon arrival we immediately view the breathtaking falls. This evening we hop on board the 175-foot tall Niagara SkyWheel. This 12-minute ride provides spectacular views of the Horseshoe and American Falls with marvelous aerial sights in all directions.
Day 4 : Journey Behind the Falls
Today, experience Niagara Falls from many different locations! This morning an expert local guide joins us for a private tour of the Niagara Falls area. We drive along the colorfully planted Niagara Parkway and visit the unique Floral Clock. The 40-foot diameter floral face of the clock is changed twice a year to feature seasonal blooms. We also take in Welland Canal, connecting Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. After our included lunch, visit Niagara Parks' Journey Behind the Falls. Descend to the base of Horseshoe Falls and walk through tunnels under the thundering cascades for a truly unique viewing experience. This afternoon brings us to Niagara Parks' White Water Walk, a serene experience along the boardwalk at the edge of the Niagara River rapids.
Day 5 : Niagara Falls Cruise & Illumination
Today begins with a thrilling Hornblower Niagara Cruises™ boat tour. Sail as close as possible to the powerful falls as we journey through the Niagara Great Gorge, and cruise past the famous Bridal Veil Falls and American Falls into the heart of Horseshoe Falls for an exhilarating experience. After, enjoy the IMAX® Theatre presentation Niagara: Legends of Adventure presented on Canada’s largest movie screen! Witness famous moments in the history of Niagara Falls and learn about the daredevils who challenged the falls. Lunch today is a treat in the revolving restaurant atop Skylon Tower, 775 feet above Niagara Falls! Enjoy delectable food and marvelous views. There is free time this afternoon to explore more of the Niagara area, purchase any last souvenirs, or relax at the hotel. Tonight, we celebrate our Niagara Falls getaway with our new friends at a Holiday Vacations Farewell Dinner at the Queen Victoria Place Restaurant. After dinner, walk up the hill to the Illumination Tower where you can change the color of the falls’ evening illumination during a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Day 6 : Fly Home
We fly home from nearby Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
