Our community

There are three really important partners in our community actvities: our customers, our supported charities, and our team.

Here’s a look at just some of the exciting projects we’re involved with:

$1 Reusable Bags

Each time customers at The Warehouse or Warehouse Stationery buy one of our iconic red bags or their beautiful blue cousins, the proceeds go directly to causes our communities care about.

Warm Fuzzies and the PJ Project

With our customers’ support, the Kindness Collective received cash donations and brand new pyjama sets to help more Kiwi kids stay warm and healthy over the chilly winter months.

Be the Joy

Every whānau deserves joy at Christmas time, which is why our stores and customers come together to raise amazing donations for some of our national charity partners including Variety – the Children’s charity, Women’s Refuge, and the Kindness Collective. Plus in 2024 we’ve welcomed the Salvation Army to our campaign. And to put a ribbon on it all, Women’s Refuge branches around Aotearoa receive our customers’ generous donations of new Christmas gifts for kids.

Aspire

The Salvation Army’s youth development programme is now into its tenth year with us, and we’re proud to have supported more than 2000 young Kiwis in their pursuit of life and leadership skills.

Youthline

It’s really important that when young people reach out, there’s someone ready to listen. We help Youthline’s team to carry out this vital work.
